I admit that sometimes I feel weak while following after Jesus and obeying His Word. Especially when He tells me to do something that I didn’t see coming. But thankfully, the very same words that the Lord spoke to the Apostle Paul, He speaks to each of us who follow Him today, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9) God’s grace is a wonderful gift to us that supplies us with strength to carry on. It is also through the grace of God that other gifts come. One of those gifts is His peace, which according to Philippians 4:7, “surpasses all understanding.” In this current chapter of life, I am in need of God’s grace and peace like never before as I find myself on another journey that requires faith. Recently, I responded to God’s call by moving to Lima, Peru to do full-time mission work alongside a local church called Camino De Vida. Ever since my first trip there in 2010, I have prayed for God to make His plan for me known, concerning Peru. Now, after returning to Lima several times, He has confirmed by His people, His promises, and His peace, that I am supposed to plant myself in Peru.
