The Bible is not only for us adults, but also for the children - especially the children. You don't have to look far to see the effects that an adult world without (and denial of) the Lord has had on kids. When you bring your child with you to Calvary Chapel, your kids are getting fed God's Word just like you are in the adult service, but at their level. Children's Church is available for infants through the 5th grade. Click on the brochure image above to learn more about our kids' ministry.
The prayer of each teacher in the Children's Ministry is that God would lead them by His Holy Spirit, to minister to each child through the teaching of God's Word. Each class, divided into appropriate age ranges, follows a curriculum designed for that specific age group. The lesson is distilled to a comprehendible level without compromising the truth of God's Word.
Every week, the teachers are praying, studying and preparing for each lesson, in much the same way that Pastor Mark prepares for his teaching of the adults.
If you are interested in serving in the Children's Ministry, there are opportunities for helpers, substitute teachers, and volunteers who can assist the teachers.
